Kambree recalls, "I was having a rough week that week
(as most weeks are in nursing school), and really wanted to go to Dallas/Fort Worth
for the weekend. But Russell, conviced [me] it
was best to stay in town and not ignore school. I had to work Saturday evening and so I got up
to do school and finish up some stuff around the house. I talked to
Russell that morning and he had mentioned he had a meeting to go to on
Saturday and so he had to get off the phone and go. Not but one minute
afterwards, I get a frantic call from my friend Jessica. She had
apparently driven downtown to study for our upcoming pediatrics test and
got a flat tire. She was upset and wanted me to come help her get help.
I knew Russell had been scheming with Jessica and so I couldn't help
but think that this was the end product of their hardwork. I told her I
had to run errands (rude, I know) and told her I was about to leave.

So, I drove downtown and found
Jessica's car parked perfectly in a parking spot, way off the road and
knew something was up. She had no flat tire but was waiting on the dock
down by the bay. I knew that this was it because I saw Russell leaning
against the dock. I was a little furious because I don't like surpises
(even though I begged and pleaded with Russell to keep this a surpise). I
gave him a big hug and couldn't believe it. He got down on one-knee and
despite being a romantic guy could only get the short but simple
phrase, 'Will you marry me?' out. I said, 'Yes times a thousand!'. It was an amazing surprise and couldn't have asked for a more
beautiful day. We got to celebrate the next day at church and the
Thanksgiving dinner with our church friends and family."

So cute, right? If you loved that story then you'll love this colorful couple's wedding!
