5 Ways to Save on the Wedding Rentals || Kiss My Tulle

  1. Make a list of the things you actually need to rent. See if you can make that list smaller by borrowing from friends or using items you already own.
  2. Instead of renting – invest in future donations. For our wedding, instead of renting plates and flatware, we bought them from thrift stores and then redonated them after the wedding to recoup our money.
  3. See if you can skip the delivery fees by picking up and dropping off the items yourself.
  4. Instead of renting chairs and for both the ceremony and the reception, see if you can use the same ones for both. This only works if they are being held at the same place and you have a small cushion of time (and friends to help) move the chairs without distracting your guests.
  5. Getting married in a church? See if they have items on site that you can use as part of your fee (and skip renting anything extra).
