I may earn money or products from the companies mentioned in this post. This helps me support my blog and my family at no extra cost to you.
Ever since I posted a step-by-step tutorial about how to start your own blog and then followed up by showing you how to make money using affiliate networks like ShareaSale, Commission Junction, and Affiliate Windows – people have been asking me about making money using blogging (or influencer) networks. I'll be honest, I've only JUST started working with these networks (for years I accepted sponsored posts independently) so I don't have a lot of experience with the Big Networks. But, I do know which ones I've loved as a small niche blogger. So today, I'm sharing my top five favorite networks that pay new bloggers to post. Here's the ones I have used the most (and they are all free to apply):
Linqia is the easiest blogging network that I know of to get into. It's campaigns are only Pay-Per-Click (which means that you only get paid for each time someone clicks on your specific tracking link) and starting off, you'll pretty much only get offers for Poise and pads. But, if you can do those and max them out – you'll get more diverse options. Sign up for Linqia here.
Coopertize is a pretty solid network and, like Linqia, it's campaigns are Pay-Per-Click but tend to be more geared toward travel and luxury items. They have new campaigns regularly and a strict publishing schedule. Sign up for Coopertize Girls here.
Socialix is a network that I've just started with. They're a good way to get some free product in exchange for a post. You can pitch companies on your own or you can wait for offers. Everything is negotiable. Sometimes, I accept straight product and sometimes I do product + my rate. They pay out immediately (the money is held in escrow and paid out by Socialix as soon as the sponsor reviews and approves your content and links). Sign up for Socialix here.
Influence Central is a great starter network for bloggers. At first, the campaigns will be few and far between (and you may need to do a couple for product + a reduced rate just to get your foot in the door) but, after a while, the well-paying campaigns will start rolling in. Sign up for Influence Central account here.
Just a note: These networks work best for beauty, fashion, lifestyle, food, and parenting (or mommy) blogs. Those are just the brands and opportunities that they work with the most. However, I know of multiple wedding, financial, and other niche blogs that have successfully worked with these networks on specific campaigns every few months – so don't hesitate to apply!
